ChatGPT: A Discussion on Ethics, by Dania Hamideh, explores the ethical complexities of artificial intelligence through an interview with ChatGPT. As artificial intelligence becomes more and more ingrained into our society with each passing day, the ethical nature of its development and usage is becoming a continued factor of concern for many. Concerns over privacy, income equality, and employment are also mentioned in this film.
Hamideh presents the discussion of the risks of AI – including bias – using voiceover and a stream of videos and images related to artificial intelligence. This project, emphasizing the OpenAI language model, is crucial in today’s society. Anyone looking to engage in foundational conversations about AI or ChatGPT would benefit greatly from this new project.
I would give this film 5 out of 5 stars.
