Covid-19, an infection that quickly turned into a pandemic, led to a worldwide shutdown in March of 2020. Symptoms included fever or chills, cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, headaches, and a loss of taste or smell, among many others. While symptoms typically last for about one to two weeks for most, around 16 million people unfortunately suffer from “Long Covid.”
In a short film titled, Everything You Need to Know About Long Covid-19, produced by Candice Lee, she discusses exactly what Long Covid-19 is, the symptoms, the dangers, and what you should do if you think you may have the disease. Lee incorporated beautiful hand-drawn illustrations into her film to provide visual aids for her viewers. The illustrations are impressive and perfectly executed.
I personally think this film does a wonderful job in educating the audience on Long Covid-19 and the major health risk it poses. Not many people pay attention to the aftermath of a Covid-19 infection, but with Lee’s dynamic illustrations, she made learning about Long Covid intriguing.
I give this film 4.5 out of 5 stars.
