Benjamin Hochman and Keiko Sekino’s virtual piano recital is a captivating testament to the resilience and talent of young musicians amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. These performers, with one musician based in China and the other musician based in Russia, deliver a mesmerizing performance that showcases not only their incredible talent but also their deep commitment to their craft.
The carefully curated program by the Bard College Conservatory of Music features works by Brahms, Schumann, Ravel, Bartók, and Schubert, offering a wonderful combination of musical styles and emotions. Despite the physical distance between the musicians, Hochman and Sekino create a showcase that allows audiences to feel connected to their music. Hochman and Sekino’s piano recital is a must-see for music lovers everywhere.
