This documentary skillfully weaves together interviews, allowing viewers to connect with the dancers on a personal level as they share their unique stories, revealing their motivations and dedications that drive them to perform. 

Visually, Sisters: We Are Family excels, showcasing the preparations of the dancers and the intricate details of each dancer’s journey. The cinematography captures the energy of the rehearsals and the weight of their stories, making every frame intentional. The editing flows seamlessly, balancing the intimate interviews with the dance sequences. 

Sisters: We Are Family is a must-see for anyone interested in the intersections of culture, art, and community, or anyone who loves dance!
