What Do You Know About Microneedles and Vaccines? is a short film by Olyvia Young that explores new technology advancing the world of vaccine treatment. It offers an educational and engaging discussion of microneedles, effectively highlighting their various benefits. In the process of elucidating these advantages, the film also educates viewers about the contemporary state of vaccine administration in global communities, addressing issues with vaccine handling and usage requirements. This unexpected aspect of the discussion left a lasting impression.
However, beyond highlighting the positives and mentioning current alternatives, the film does little to delve deeper. While it explains the benefits, viewers are left without information regarding the progress of large-scale production of microneedles or when their benefits will be accessible to global communities. Although these elements may not be the primary focus of the film, it’s important to highlight them to promote awareness of new technology. If there’s no opportunity to delve into these aspects in the film, providing links or resources where viewers can further educate themselves about the technology would be valuable.
The film was interesting, but left me wanting more. I am content with giving it 3 out of 5 stars.
