Melody is a four-minute short film that highlights the Global Nomads Group’s Campfire program. Η Παγκόσμια Ομάδα Nomads (GNG) is an organization that focuses on connecting young people from all over the world through video-conferencing technology. It’s work brings young people from all cultures together to communicate, share life experiences, and learn more about each other.
Σε Melody, a student based in New York who has participated in the Campfire Program discusses how she connected and worked with another student from Jordan. Melody discusses her experience while taking part in the program, including what she learned about people from Jordan, their religious and cultural beliefs, as well as their interests. Συμπερασματικά, I would give this short film 4 έξω από 5 αστέρια. I do wish it had covered more about the GNG and what Melody continued to do with them. The message about the importance of multicultural learning is short, sweet, and to the point. It is a film that makes you want to learn more about this organization’s work and consider who else this approach might help.
