The issue of climate change is daunting, requiring the effort of many to address. This is where the students in the Green Ambassador program of Lawndale Environmental Charter High School are determined to make a difference for the better of our planet. This short documentary highlights the efforts made by the bright young minds who take on the issues of climate change and make a positive impact on the environment.
Green Ambassadors is curated for the Planet Classroom Network by Young Voices for the Planet. Produced by Lynne Cherry, the short documentary film reminds its viewers that no one is too young to help the planet and make a positive difference in their community. The Green Ambassadors are fully invested in their planet’s future. The overall message is both informative and uplifting, reminding us that caring for the planet is critical no matter what your age.
This film succeeds in presenting an interesting perspective on one of the most important issues in today’s world. I appreciated that the Green Ambassadors were celebrated for their valiant efforts in this film, and I hope that many young people who watch it are inspired to play the same role in their communities.
I give this film 4 out of 5 stars.
