They are alive and can move at a whim. The girl tries to pick one of the roses, but they evade her grasp. The stubborn girl frustratingly rips out one of the roses to the cries of its brethren. Seemingly happy with her decision, the girl tries to move away, but at this point a giant rose appears from behind, and devours her for stealing one of the roses. The sign finally comes into the picture, “Warning do not pick the flowers.”
