WHAT

HOW

24 Climate Activists from 24 nations around the world will create an original video and podcast series with their local environmental thought leaders as guests to follow-up on the progress countries are making on their climate pledges since COP26.

WHEN

ネットゼロ will be streamed on the Planet Classroom Network beginning on Tuesday February 1, 2022.  Information on youth climate activist reporters and international guests will be announced shortly beforehand.

ネットゼロ refers to the balance between the amount of greenhouse gas produced and the amount removed from our atmosphere. We reach net zero when the amount we add is no more than the amount taken away. Youth will challenge leadership on how they can achieve this and why it matters.

The number of countries announcing pledges to achieve ネットゼロ emissions over the coming decades continues to grow but what will it take to accomplish the goal and give the world an even chance of limiting the global temperature rise to 1.5 パーセント?
