No End in Sight in Myanmar

By Tanner Sell

Myanmar and The Longest Civil War in the World is a short film produced by Alex Abreu that analyzes the history of conflict in the country of Myanmar. Formerly known as Burma, the country has been in the midst of a civil war for the last two years after a military coup d’etat. The conflict has impacted over 55 מיליון אנשים, עם 2 million of them being displaced completely.

After years of trying to become a democratic nation, Myanmar finally achieved their wish. זה, until a junta attacked and took power. Now Myanmar faces decades worth of setbacks, with its leader being under house arrest.

This short film by Alex Abreu displays the terrible things that have happened in Myanmar in the past few years. It reminds its viewers that there are things like this happening in the world that we rarely ever hear about, until now, thanks to Alex.

I am pleased to rate this film with 3 מתוך 5 כוכבים.
