How Will the Metaverse Change the Way We Live and Learn? is a short film from producer Lucinda Izzo about the benefits and drawbacks of the single most polarizing new technology. The Metaverse offers an opportunity to use virtual reality to rethink our interpersonal connections as a species, but is this a positive thing? How are we to manage a balance between individual and social boundaries if they are no longer physical?
Lucinda raises all of these questions with her calculated view into the Metaverse. She provides a description of the technology and the theory behind it, while exploring the possible positive and negative changes it can have on society.
I believe Lucinda does a wonderful job of disseminating all of these complex ideas and presenting them in a digestible format. The Metaverse certainly poses endless opportunities for ways to reshape our future, but it’s not yet clear if this is the most efficient direction to take.
I am pleased to rate this film with 5 out of 5 stars.
