Ricardo, why did you choose to interview Lonnie Thompson and Adam Paul Smith? What inspired you about them?

There are stories that continually captivate me, and Lonnie’s is one such tale. His impassioned discourse reflects an unwavering commitment that transcends the issue of climate change. Lonnie’s journey is remarkable—it showcases resilience, belirleme, and the significance of personal conviction in addressing global challenges. His transformation from adversity to a prominent figure in climate science is truly inspiring. Adam is a creative force and the mastermind behind the 5 year journey to create the film Canary.   As a young journalist, witnessing firsthand the potent role of storytelling as a catalyst for climate action, the experience is undeniably invaluable.

What surprised you the most during the interviews?

The most striking aspect was Lonnie’s emotional connection to his life’s work. Realizing the pivotal role of emotional engagement in combating climate change was intriguing and inspiring.
