Treinando Pedro (Training Pedro) is a short film directed by Igor Marinho that demonstrates the willingness and perseverance of a young boy’s pursuit of success. This film presents Pedro, an eager and determined individual who hopes to become a professional soccer player despite his lack of talent or athletic ability.
Pedro studies soccer strategies and trains day and night in hopes of becoming better at his chosen sport. He showcases a continued motivation for soccer throughout the film, until he’s finally able to score a goal.
Treinando Pedro is an inspirational, yet hilarious film that captures the desire to chase your dreams, but also the willingness to change your mind. This is a project recommended for audiences of all ages.
I would give this film 5 out of 5 stars.
