Millennials and Generation Z will make up 37% of the 2020 electorate and subsequently have the opportunity to exercise their political muscle in November. According to published research younger generations are more racially and ethnically diverse. Generation Z will make up more than 10% of the 2020 electorate. This generation has continued and deepened many of the political trends preferred by Millennials. Almost half of them are non white.
